Organising a firework display
New customers who want to organise a display are welcome to have an informal discussion about all the issues which arise when they start planning a professional firework display. In this way we can advise on best practice and help to avoid some of the pitfalls.
The HSE have developed guidance for organisers whether they are planning on lighting fireworks themselves or employing a firework display company to fire the display for them.

Only professional companies are allowed to use Category 4 fireworks which requires amongst other attributes “Person’s with specialist knowledge” (PWSK). Make sure that any company you approach for a display can provide evidence that they have this knowledge.
Fully Fused Fireworks is a full-time business, run by the current Chairman of the industry association the British Pyrotechnists Association (BPA) and he and the General Manager are qualified lecturers for the firer courses the Association runs. You can check on the validity of a BPA technicians’ qualification by visiting the BPA website.
